BaseCamp Camping French Press

Fifth purcase

My fifth BaseCamp press in 10 years including two for me (48 and 32 oz versions) and now 3 of my 6 kids. I still use my original 48 oz press daily except when it's just my wife and I drinking coffee that day although I've had to replace the lid/press assembly twice due to failure of the small cap the flips to pour. I really like the new design of the spout as it almost never drips (the older spout design on my original (and bothe replacement lids) drips enough that I always keep a dish rag handy. I've never used a better French press than the basecamp. I don't go a day without one at home or away unless I'm backpacking more than 3 nights.

Great coffee maker.

Makes great tasting coffee, easy to use, and keeps hot a long time.

Disappointed

I have used your French presses for years and wanted to replace, but you no longer make the stainless so I ordered this one. Although very nice to look at it is VERY heavy for a senior and very hard to open and I never could figure out the pour spout so sadly, I returned it. I mailed the return yesterday and you should receive it soon. Thank you for trying.
