Coconut-Free Shampoo Bar

Coconut-free shampoo is surprisingly hard to find. I had never used a shampoo bar (and was a little unsure) but excited for a plastic and coconut-free shampoo solution. This ginger coconut-free shampoo is easy to use, hasn't dissolved into nothing after a couple weeks in the shower, smells nice, and makes my hair very happy.

I’ve been using this bar for over a year now and I have to say, it’s the best shampoo I’ve ever used! My hair is so much healthier and I don’t have to worry about breaking out in massive rashes if a tiny bit gets in my eyes or mouth. Coconut free shampoo is a hard find, especially if you want natural ingredients, but Seekbamboo knocks it out of the park!!! Plus it lasts me about 6 months if I keep it in the soap saver bag! I can’t say enough good things about this bar. For scents, I’ve tried Olive, Charcoal, and Ginger. Love Olive for very neutral smells, but I think the Ginger is my favorite. Wish they still made Lavender, I’m bummed I didn’t get to try it because it was already discontinued.

I am allergic to DMAPA and bought the charcoal coconut-free shampoo bar. It's the first shampoo bar that I've ever tried. It lathers so well and really makes my hair feel fresh and clean without any residue or rubbery-texture (like other coconut-free products). I was truly surprised at how easy it was to use a shampoo bar. I thought it was for people with short hair, but I have long hair and it is so easy. You rub it in your hands with water and rub the suds into your hair. I only have to do that once or twice per shower! I used to do two full shampoos each shower when I used liquid shampoo. I absolutely want to try the conditioner bar next. I started this shampoo bar on 10/15, and I plan to track how long it lasts. I wash my hair every other day.
