Anova Precision Pro

This device is amazing. I have been with Anova since the start, with their First Gen Anova Pro, and then 2 of the first gen Nano devices. Was able to run mutiple dishes at the same time. And also cook large gatherings with mutiple anovas in a huge chillybin of water. They lasted for many years and did a lot of work. This new Pro is so much more powerful it will take over from all of them and do large meals. Loving it.

Not what I expected, but it’s probably my misunderstanding.

First thing I tried to cook was chicken breasts cooked to 145F after marinating in salt, cajun spice, and some olive oil. The result was just as chewy and rubbery as when I have tried to cook them on the grill. No fault of the Anova Precision Cooker Pro, it held the temp and circulation perfectly.

Better all round

This was an upgrade on the smaller sous vide heater for me. Everything is better - faster, stronger and most importantly more stable connections via WiFi etc
