Love Tonerider!

I have always been a Tonerider fan. These pickups tamed the bright twang of my guitar and brought it to the tone I was looking for. As always a great product.

Alnico ii Blues

A month prior to installing Tonerider’s Alnico 2 Blues set on my tele I had installed Fender’s Deluxe Drive set. While the application is different I found the build quality of Tonerider to be of a superior quality. I prefer the Tonerider set, it has sufficient punch and a great balance that suits the fingerstyle player I am. The sounds are articulate, warm and dynamic at the same time, I love it !!

Perfect for my bigsby tele

Great quality and price. Great service, being able to specify the wiring and cover of neck pickup was a welcome touch. I chose additional ground for 4-way wiring, plus open top cover. Delivery was prompt. Pickups in alder body, with bigsby, maple fretboard, 4-way switch and treble bleed, have a rich, open, vintage tone, plenty of low and top end, but no cutting treble. React well to different pickup heights. I play mainly clean so have them lowered a little. But at the normal height worked really well with gain, can see them cutting through well in a mix. I would recommend these pickups, equally good as the more expensive brands.
