Pretty Purple

I thought this ink would be darker to match the pen but the shade is more mid purple than deep purple. The green/pink shimmer gives this ink the most interesting character.

Ethereal - but legible!

I have far too many blue/purple inks so almost have this a miss but something about the green shimmer drew me in. I wasn’t entirely sure how it would show up in person - it’s not always easy to tell from online ohotographs how the ink will shimmer and shift when the light hits the page -but I’m glad I took the chance. The ink really does feel moonlit. It has an ethereal quality to it - and yet it is not so light as to be illegible. Win-win.

This ink is as magical as the Bijou pen with the same name. It is one of the first inks I bought from FWP when I discovered such a wonderful company existed. When I feel like writing about my precious and memorable days, I use Moonbeam Meadows. The shimmer wakes up memories of the unforgettable days every time.
