Small Upgrade, Big Impact
I’ve been using the CineBack with my Canon R5 Mark II and it’s quickly become one of those things I don’t want to shoot without. One of the first things I noticed, and really appreciated, is the added weight. It gives the camera a more balanced, substantial feel in the hand without making the setup overly heavy or tiring during longer shoots. It’s that sweet spot where it feels more “pro” without becoming a burden. What really stands out, though, is the versatility. The number of mounting points opens up so many possibilities for rig expansion. Whether it’s attaching accessories for video work or just fine-tuning your setup, there’s no shortage of options. It makes the camera much more adaptable depending on the shoot. I’ll admit, getting everything dialed in... especially with a quick release plate, did take a bit of trial and error at first. But once I found the right configuration, everything locked in perfectly. Now it feels incredibly solid and secure, with no wiggle or concern about stability. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. It adds functionality, improves handling, and gives me more flexibility in how I build out my rig. Definitely worth it for anyone looking to get more out of their Canon setup.

I bought this for the R6 III
I actually bought this for the R6 III, it fits perfectly in here as it has the same dimensions and doors as the r5 II. The vmount power to the dtap ports are amazing! And cheese plates give more than enough options for setting up the rig. Thanks camera foundry!
