Great Light
Wow! I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but this light exceeded all my expectations. It's lightweight, incredibly durable, and the battery seems to last forever. Ravemen did an outstanding job designing this bicycle light, and the variety of flashing modes is a huge bonus. It's bright, dependable, and easy to use. Easily one of the best cycling accessories I've purchased. Very happy buyer here!

technically, I like it a lot
For something like your Specialized Venge, I think that is a very attractive solution because you avoid having a separate lamp clamped somewhere on the aero cockpit. And 1,500 lm is enough that this isn't merely a "be seen" light—you can actually ride unlit roads with it. The first user reports also praise the solid mount and strong illumination.
The big issue: StVZO
The FR1500 does not have German StVZO approval. A German-market retailer explicitly warns that it isn't approved for public-road use in Germany.
My rating: about 9/10 technically, but only 6–7/10 as your sole front light in Germany because of the StVZO issue.

Almost perfect
Gold brightness and battery life, and the GPS sandwich mount is brilliant.
But especially given it appeals to minimalists, the stack is unnecessarily high. The top of this light should sit just about flush with the bottom of the GPS. Same for the bottom and the mount. There’s gotta be 10mm of extra stack in there that could be worked out w better industrial design.
