Very good

A really interesting book on the subject, especially given the reduced price at time of purchase. Lots of technical information about the design development and construction of these and this particular vessel. A little light on the units and flotillas which used them during the war, where they were based etc. Overall very good though.

I bought this book as a gift for a friend whose father served on these boats in WW2, There is a lot of good information about this little known arm of the Navy, I had a good read of it before handing it over, and was very impressed
