9-6 8wt great single hand steelhead rod

This is a sweet rod. 9'6" 8 weight is really nice for single hand steelhead. Plenty of pickup when casting heavier rigs. Plenty of backbone so no problem elevating hot steelhead to the net. The flex in the tip throws great mends short and long. It was butter throwing reach cast at 30+ yards. I've been a western fishing guide for 25+years and found instant enjoyment with this rod.
