Send me another review in 4 weeks. I haven’t fished with it yet. But i do have the R8 Core in a 9ft 6 in length 5 wt and absolutely love it so I’m expecting the same from the 6wt!

Sweet rod, love the action. A bit pricey but Sage is the best and you can't beat the American manufacturing.

The Sage R8 Core 690-4 is an amazing rod that’s been perfect for fishing the rivers here in Colorado. It’s super lightweight, which is a huge blessing when you’re out on the water all day. I’ve had great luck with it catching trout, and it feels really smooth and easy to cast. Overall, it’s been a fantastic rod that I’m really happy with.
