What an amazing rod! So far from what I can tell it is a better build and fast action than the Orvis Helois. I'm very pleased Sage and their fly rods.

I have only casted the rod in the yard so far. Hope to fish it soon. It is smooth and responsive and has that great Sage feel

Great Performing Rod

Very happy with the rod. Yesterday, it was christened with a first fish, a chunky 17” brown. The fish took my own rendition of the “silver doctor wet fly. Two more Trout came to net also on wet fly patterns. Looking forward to the Hendrickson hatch in a couple of weeks.
