Couleur magnifique

J'ai présenté à mon petit-fils la couleur pour ses bas (14 de pointure et 15 ans). Il m'a dit que c'était exactement le bleu qu'il aime. Je commence ses bas cette semaine.

Crushed for Strangers in the Night

A lovely quality of yarn. It's a bit finer than I'm used to, but it works up very well and is extremely forgiving if you need to rip out. The stitch definition is excellent too. My only complaint is that the actual colour saturation is MUCH darker. It looks NOTHING like the image, and this is taking into consideration screen monitor differences etc. I was hoping for something very much like shown, but instead have a dark teal base with dark maroon hits. It's very deceptive and as a result, I've had to attempt many different patterns in order to compliment the wool's hues and saturations. This has been extremeky trying and frustrating, which has been very disappointing. But the QUALITY of the wool/yarn is truly wonderful. Soft and forgiving, and an absolute pleasure to knit. In the end, I'd offer a higher rating, if it wasn't for the colour issue, which really was very surprising.
