Obsessed. Such a great mix of music and artists. This is a very chill playlist. I love this so much I purchased two more subscriptions for friends.

I really enjoyed the experience. That said, I’m not convinced it was worth the $40 (inc tax & shipping) price tag.
I’m torn between staying enrolled to discover a few more albums or putting that same money toward a record I already know I’ll love. The concept is fantastic, and I genuinely enjoy the excitement of not knowing what’s going to show up.
My only reservation is the pricing. At around $40, it feels comparable to the cost of a highly anticipated mainstream release rather than a compilation of lesser-known underground indie artists. That makes it a little harder to justify, even though discovering new music is part of the appeal.
That said, the record itself was beautifully done. The pressing quality, the jacket, and the overall presentation were all excellent and absolutely deserving of praise. It’s clear a lot of care went into the product.

Absolutely phenomenal track list that is actually my introduction to Vinyl Moon. For starters, the vinyl sleeve is a beautiful artwork that you can customize. Spin a wheel that rotates an image so that you can change the creature in view. This was one of the coolest features I’ve ever seen on a sleeve and is very unique especially for my collection. Being my first from Vinyl moon makes it even more special with that random feature. As for the music, the track listing is exactly what I needed in terms of branching out musically. I typically indulge in 90’s hip hop and classic rock, but I am ALWAYS looking for new music to experience. Getting to listen to a track by an artist named Bat Zoo really helped me realize there is great music even if you’re not the most popular or mainstream artists. Bat Zoo, harf, and flatheadstanley steal the show on this collection but the whole list has some fantastic songs I continue to revisit.
