RIFE Liquid Temp Sensor 1/8" NPT GM Connector (Coolant, Water, Oil, Trans Fluid, Fuel)

Broke mine off flush when installing it into my LS oil cooler adapter. It’s not typical, as I’ve dealt with these sensors before. What’s a little frustrating is not finding info on how tight to install them. I know they’re aluminum, so I wanted to double check the owners manual for torque recommendations to be on the safe side. But no info anywhere I could find. I read the disclaimer regarding the electronics not BEING 100% made in the USA, so I can’t say I wasn’t properly warned at least.

I got this to monitor the temperature sensor in my transmission pan. My only concern is that it might not get a good reading because the sensor doesn't stick out into the pan very far. I think this is more developed for inline monitoring of temperatures.

So convenient being able to use the rife sensor to have a different thread other than standard gm and very easy to set up since they include the calibration settings for fueltech and other ecu’s
