This is a key switch grommet. This chrome plated ABS plastic grommet is made by Show Chrome and was designed to replace the colored factory grommet on the ignition panel. It has the two locking tabs on the bottom and will fit all Goldwing 1...

Very nice grommet

The show Chrome grommet is a different design than the plain Add On offering...looks a lot better. Has a bit of style to it! And with the tabs on the back, insert one side, slide it all the way into the one tab...that gives you the clearance for the other tab. Then center the grommet in the hole. Makes it easier to move around to accommodate the ignition switch position when the cover is attached! Since all switches are slightly different in position. I like it a lot better.
