Can not get it out

This is a really lovely mold and brought it for my Granddaughter but for the life of me I can not get it out the mold without breaking an ear or front leg. I have tried all types of pillar waxes and I even tried adding a wax hardener, I used a mold release spray, but to no avail. Such a shame really.
