Once I figured the correct placement, the trim pieces fit perfectly on my 2012 Gold Wing. Once I determined the correct placement, I used a Sharpie permanent marker to outline the part. Once the piece was in place, alcohol immediately and completely erases the "permanent" ink. The only hassle is removing the film from the adhesive -- really takes a lot of picking.
