These are the best tail cords on the market. The ones with plastic clips come apart all the time. These are strong and so convenient compared to leg straps.

Tail cord versus leg straps

Despite being quite dubious about just having a tail cord, and no leg straps , I am now a fan of this type of tail cord. It does it’s job even in very stormy weather . However, for the really big horses like my purebred Percheron a70 or 80 cm tail cord would be better . For that horse I have to join a 60 cm and a short one together
