99 Silverado over axle frame repair

So my frame was almost all the way rusted through. Removed bed with a cherry picker to gain more access. Piece fit right over affected area, with the slight gap at the bottom everyone else had mentioned. Not a big deal, and just filled it with bolt and welded it up. Very sturdy and will last for years to come. Did both the driver and passenger side.Quality is top notch and thickness of metal ensures structural integrity. In process of rust proofing the rest of it.

Bracket fits right over the affected spot was not a perfect fit but close enough where we could scab some chunks of metal to fill the voids. Now I can hit the train tracks with confidence again!!
