New boots

It’s been a long time since I bought some mountaineering boots but narrowed it down through Rock and Run to Mammut Taiss Light. What a boot, it met all my expectations and some. Staff at the shop are fantastic, knowledgeable and outdoor oriented. I’ve been going to this shop in its various incarnations since it started in Ambleside in the early 80’s, thoroughly recommend it.
