The doorbell will not connect despite ensuring 2. 4Ghz; even using a 2. 4H hotspot. After multiple Tech support calls asking exactly the same questions with the same directives I was finally able to convince them the device is defective. It got worse; the promise of replacement hasn’t happened after 2 follow up calls. It has now been about 1 month. And this is after having to order it directly over the phone from Lorex. I still had to jump through many hoops providing model and serial #s AND proof of purchase EVEN with an order number. To date I don’t have a functioning doorbell. Thus far everything has been negative.

Love the night light that comes on, and how it blinks to notify package thieves they are being recorded. Seamlessly attached to my Lorex NVR. You must install as a doorbell separately to get the doorbell notifications. The 2k resolution blows away the ring doorbell I replaced. . . and NO MONTHLY/ANNUAL FEE!!!

We bought this as a replacement for an older Lorex video doorbell (our 4th doorbell purchase all of which we installed ourselves) but we had trouble getting the unit into "Hotspot" mode. Long story short, after several calls and emails to Lorex tech support, installing a new 24v doorbell transformer, a new 24v doorbell chime (the old ones worked fine prior to this), rewiring the circuit that the transformer was on, and receiving a replacement doorbell, the doorbell was installed in less than 15 minutes. The product itself is great. Tech support was helpful and in the end, we have a new functioning video doorbell.
