Impressive Product, Packaging . . . Instructions ehh

I was (and still am) impressed with the 2401 pathway lights I ordered. I was also impressed with well-engineered packaging. Was not as impressed with the installation instructions. I’m retired and have a mechanical background (toolmaker, industrial buyer) and have wired a few houses. I have not used low voltage before and had to read the instructions several times to understand the installation. A simple example in the instructions is the dated photo of attaching the lights wire to the transformer wire. The photo showed the use of wire nuts and mine came with ‘shark-bite’ connectors which are a huge improvement - thank you. It was a bit of a learning curve but now additions will be an easier.

Pathway lights

We have a circular driveway to the front door. We originally ordered 21 lights and 4 spotlights. We ordered further 5 light and then the last order for the final 2 lights. We used 3 transformers, with the job now completed we are really excited with the outcome- We love these lights, and the service for all three orders was impeccable. I will be using Gardenreet again as we need a few flood lights. Sincerely Christopher Foord-Kelcey.

Path lights brilliance

Very nice product. Simple to install. Just a couple suggestions. The lumen rating of the fixture regardless of the chosen bulb is decreased by the frosted globe. Maybe a clear globe could also be offered? Also provide a dielectric grease for water protection of the wiring connections and bulb tip connection
