I'm really glad this was available. Just like the original model from days of yore. Back in the mid 60's when we lived in Luxembourg, Dad took us visit Patton's grave in Luxembourg. On the way home, we stopped at a small store and in a rare event, he let us kids get one thing each that we wanted. I got the original Oldsmobile Staff Car and treasured it dearly. Regrettably it got lost when we moved stateside in 1968. Several years ago, I found the one had from the 60s on Ebay, and obtained it after a furious bidding war. The seller was in Switzerland, and that it in of it self is a tale, but for another day. Of course it was sans the box. Now I have this re-release with the box and you can't tell the difference putting them side by side, except for the bit of age on the original one, although it was well kept. Well done indeed Corgi!!
