Easy install

Bought this for my 24 civic. Installed it with some help from my husband. It took about 45 mins total. Needed to watch a you tube video to figure out how to remove the trim pieces around the mirror but that was easy once I had a visual. Running the wires was easy and connecting to phone went well too. It’s very low profile which I love. No junk on my windshield.

Easy install, looks OEM, and easily connects to phone. Video quality is decent and so far so good. Works great with my 2025 Civic Touring Hybrid. Software only allows 1minute and 3 minute loops but that’s probably inconsequential. It also allows for 1440p recording in addition to 4k.

What a game-changer!

I always wanted a dash cam, but didn't want something bulky blocking my view or something I would have to remember to switch on and off. Installation was simple. For my Civic, I didn't even need to remove too many trim panels, mostly just the rubber gasket around the doors. The front and rear 1440p videos are excellent. I did have trouble connecting my phone to the camera at first, until I realized that my home and car WIFI were fighting to reconnect to my phone, too. If you know your home WIFI password you can choose to "Forget" it and reconnect later (connecting back to the car takes longer), so you can do what I do: I check/download videos away from home (work, school, store) and since I wired the camera to the overhead interior lights, I just open a door to tuen the camera on. Don't start the car. This way your phone won't try to connect to the car!
