5 Stars — Outstanding sensor, outstanding support
I recently purchased three Everything Presence One sensors to integrate with my Homey Pro smart home system, and after getting them properly configured I could not be more pleased with the results. The mmWave radar technology on these sensors is genuinely impressive. I am now covering areas with a single EP1 where I previously needed two or three sensors to achieve the same coverage. The detection is accurate, reliable, and handles the tricky scenarios that defeat lesser sensors — a person sitting completely still, someone in a recliner watching TV, a person working quietly at a desk. The EP1 catches them all. The Homey Pro integration is well thought out and exposes a comprehensive set of tuning controls once you understand what each parameter does. Getting the sensitivity and latency values dialed in correctly takes a bit of patience, but once set the occupancy detection is rock solid. I do want to mention an issue I encountered early on. The Homey Pro app was capping the Maximum Distance setting at 6 meters, which was a significant problem for me since the extended 25-meter range was a primary reason I chose the EP1 in the first place. I reached out to Lewis at Everything Smart and was genuinely impressed by what happened next — the issue was fully resolved with an app update in approximately two days. No re-pairing, no firmware changes, no hassle. The full 25-meter range is now accessible directly in Homey and the sensors are performing exactly as advertised. That kind of developer responsiveness is rare and worth recognizing. When you combine hardware this capable with support this responsive, it is an easy five stars. Highly recommended for any serious Homey Pro user looking for reliable, long-range presence detection.

Anticipation that turned to disappointment
I’ve just been really disappointed. I’ve spent a month trying to get them to work without false positives, changing sensor positions, cables, distance and sensitivity settings, and even resetting to factory defaults again. The mmWave sensors are just continually detecting occupancy, even with nobody in the house. I never had these problems in two of the rooms I’m using the EP1s in when I was using Meross MS605s, but there is something about the EP1 that just doesn’t work in my house. Oh well, I eagerly waited the arrival of these devices with much anticipation (ordered in Jan, delivered end of April), but it’s just been a ‘meh’ experience plagued with continual false positives and they have not won approval from the family. Instead, the wife is annoyed that lights are stuck on when we’re away, and are randomly on at night when we are asleep at home. I have now ordered another three MS605s to replace the disappointing EP1s. The EP1s will instead be used as expensive CO2 sensors until I decide on a better solution.

Love the upgrade in sensor (mmWave) to the lite but wished there was a means to set up zones. I realize different formats y axis, z axis etc…. Just wishing
