Finally, something decent from Barrie! Hahaha

Growing up in Cochrane, I learned two things: how to handle the cold and that Barrie was nothing more than a place you drove through. Whether I was headed to Toronto or playing Junior hockey in Bracebridge, the only reason to stop was that glorious old drive-thru beer store where they’d toss a case right into your trunk for you. I still remember buying my first case of Wildcat the second I turned 19. For years, I thought that was the town's only contribution to humanity. Well, Whiskey Road has officially changed my mind. My son finally badgered me into checking them out, and I’m glad he did—even if I didn't have to drive anywhere to get my haul. I ordered two of their hats, a hoodie, and a gem from their retro hockey sister brand. The quality is top-tier, and the hoodie is so comfy I’m now legally obligated to live in it. Honestly, the only other thing I’ll willingly acknowledge from Barrie now is a cold Flying Monkeys brew. Between the threads and the beer, I guess that area is finally worth more than just a drive-thru trunk loading. Five stars—and thanks for the inspiration!
