30Inch short sleeve

We noticed the 30 inch leotard was wider fitting rather than just longer. While I understand gymnasts vary in size could 2 different body types be catered for? Regular fit and slim fit? As the leotard has gaps under the arms due to width on my 6 year old who is tall.
