It was harder to put in the new filter. I had to get pliers. I just think the tolerances were a little off so it did not fit as well as the original filter. Got it in and it works.

I have had issues in the past trying to 'seat' this model water filter cartridge into the filter compartment. It seems it was hit on some purchases elsewhere, if this would be able to rotate and lock into place without forcing it. Happily these filters purchased here went in easily and I had no issues.
