I’ve worn these boots for a week of daily use in Churchill focused on photography of polar bears in end of October. Temperatures were just below freezing most days with some colder: my feet were comfortable during hours of standing, waiting and watching polar bears while we made little movement. Stomping through snow is a breeze and there’s never a concern of snow getting inside your boot either. My first pair of really cold-weather boots and I love them. Everyone who had lacing boots on the trip was jealous of the easy slip-on/off of this boot. The sizing is true to other hiking boots - I wear a 13 in most shoes and boots and got a 13 in these and it’s a good fit for me. Please note these boots would not be good for hiking as they are difficult to make tight to your foot - there’s not a worry of them falling off, but your foot is not secured to anything so tactical moves are difficult.
