No Half Sizes so went to a half size larger. Too large

Normally I use a size 8 1/2 so I ordered a size 9. Too loose on my foot like a flip-flop. I then exchanged for a size 8 and the fit was good. Not tight at all. Very nice-looking shoes but keep in mind they run large.
