Rust issue

I opted for the rusted look but whatever corrosive they put on there was too strong. Large sheets of rust fall off of it daily. Not only is it staining my pavers with rust marks but the metal is already starting to thin out and it's been less than 1 year. Definitely not what I expected with a product I paid $2800 for. I contacted the seller and they said that it is normal even though I explained that huge sheets fall off daily. I keep it covered 24/7 unless in use so it is not exposed to rain and I love no where near the beach so no salty air. Not sure if this grill (Alamo Pro 120) will be function by the end of the first year.

Awesome grill

Love this thing. It was surprisingly easy to put together by myself. Already have done a couple cooks on it and am not disappointed. Two bits of feedback…. First, just a heads up to wear gloves when putting the rust/patina option as it will leave your hands looking orange-ish for a couple days. Second much smaller ask, let us know where the bottle opener goes. It’s not listed anywhere in the instructions. That said, don’t hesitate to pull the trigger on adding this to your family.
