Returning for a larger size

I spent a lot of time combing through reviews, measuring and comparing to the size chart before ordering. The size chart with my measurements recommended I order a small. Based on reviews, it seemed like a medium would be best. I emailed Jolyn because I wasn't sure what to order. They were not very helpful (just told me to look at the size chart, which indicated a small), but when I sent full measurements they eventually recommended ordering XL (??). In the end, I ordered a Medium based on the reviews and I returned it because I felt like it was too small. I think some people would have been happy with the medium, but I want a bit more coverage because I hate dealing with underboob when I'm working out. For context I have a small rib cage and larger boobs for my frame. I also ordered a different Jolyn bikini top at the same time without adjustable ties, also in medium and it was too big! My take away is order 1-2 sizes up in the adjustable tie models and order your normal size in the fixed strap models if you have a smaller rib cage. I did rebuy a large in this one and a small in the other, so hopefully those are better.

It’s not the most flattering design for small chests & hard to position over small bust. Don’t hate it but not my favorite too either.
