False advertising. Water does not flow continuously and does not flow on motion detection (cat approaching) it flows on time intervals (minimum 6 hours) so you have stagnate bacteria growing water just sitting there. And that is if the fountain even works right which mine does not. Do not buy this overpriced junk that is sold on false advertising.

Worst fountain and also most expensive. The bottom stopper leaked no matter how much I adjusted it and the sensor to stop the bowl from overfilling never worked. So the clean water always just ran until it filled the dirty water container.

False or misleading advertising!!! The images showing the fountain running while a cat is drinking are not entirely accurate. The only time water comes out of the fountain is when it dispenses water based on the 6, 9, or 12 hour schedule you pick. The water does NOT circulate. It stays stagnant in the pan until it is dumped and refilled. The 30 day, "if your cat won't drink", "no questions asked" return policy is a lie!
