This fits comfortably, I am a size 22/24 and the strap still has a little amount of room around the waist. My baby falls asleep every time he is in it. He is almost 2 months old now. I feel like he is very secure and it holds his head safely. This is a lifesaver to be able to do things around the house and running errands. 100% worth the cost
