On this costly Magna Carta fountain pen made in India
On this very costly fountain pen made in India, the tines weren't properly aligned: one was much higher than the other. Also, there was some slight distortion in the nib. It has a swale (or a rise) which tells me someone, maybe someone in India, slightly distorted the nib. Now at the writing tip of the nib, the end of each tine isn't exactly parallel to the other one: they're turned slightly to each other which isn't ideal at all. Will Goulet do anything about this?

Cannot recommend
I cannot recommend this pen. The nib itself performs well - the ink flow is OK most of the time and it flexes fantastically. The design of the pen is beautiful, even if the cap does not post. Now, the converter leaks internally regardless of any (light) adjustments. The thread in the cap is not precise, so you will have to rotate the pen and restart the capping until your find the thread path with least resistance. Finally, one of the pins that hold the cap in place is loose. I have had the pen for two months and have used it judiciously, considering how much it costs. The internal hemorrhaging in this pen is what bothers me the most, then a loose pin, followed by the thread.

Great Nib, Great Customer Service!
My original pen had a flaw, but customer service was amazing! The new pen works like a dream, and it is one of my favorite pens! A true "Grail-Pen!"
