For the occasion of my 65th birthday, I ordered the Canemaster Veterans Cane with Palmrest. It arrived and was a beauty right out of the box. The pure hickory was a pricey upgrade and that upgrade perfectly adds to the awesomeness of this cane. The cane show 16 lines per inch with surpasses all my other canes. This isn’t my first Canemaster cane and I always get just Tung oil finish and wait for the natural beauty to patina into the cane. Also the engraving was spot on perfect. A Fantastic First and Only Cane Choice

As a Veteran, a Retired State Law Enforcement Officer, and a lifelong student of six different martial arts disciplines, finding myself now permanently disabled I have found adjusting to a new and difficult life a difficult transition. Accepting the fact that I really needed a cane after consulting my doc I sought out a cane that represented certain aspects from my life while also being rugged, solid and something I could rely on in a difficult situation. The Cane Masters Veteran's Cane hits all those marks while also looking sharp. I opted for the crimson finish, hickory for greater strength, the copper cap to protect the wood from adverse weather conditions and added the palm rest for both everyday function and for greater control in a defensive role. I also ordered a few of the heavy duty cane tips for improved traction in snow and icy conditions. I am very pleased with the quality, appearance and function of this cane even though I wish I didn't need it. Highly recommend the Cane Masters Veteran's Cane to all my brothers and sisters out there.
