A gorgeous, dark yellow-gold

This ended up being an unexpectedly darker brownish-gold color, and yet I ended up loving it as I was watching it. The gold shimmer definitely helps with the writing, but the ink color itself has this dark, yellow-ochre hue that isn't exactly brown, but also not quite yellow, either. It is such a unique ink color, and it grew on me enough to be a nice addition to my ink collection!

Overall, my experience with Ferris Wheel Press was a bit mixed. The ink quality is exceptional, vibrant, smooth, and definitely a standout 👍. That said, I chose to only purchase ink and not their fountain pens because the pens lack a modern twist. They have a rounded, classic look, but I feel they'd benefit from a more squared, chiseled design. Plus, a clip would be a major improvement, allowing the user to be able to carry their preferred writing method more comfortably, and conveniently. Lastly, the packaging was quite disappointing, given the price, the glass items weren't well protected and arrived damaged. I do hope they improve both design and shipping in the future.
