Good fit and Protection
I ride only one time in gear shorts. They feel good and have good protection. I have about a dozen of Pearl Izumi shorts, these did not disappoint.

Great chamois
The chamois is the highlights of these shorts. The fabric is so soft to the touch, but in reality, you don't notice once you are wearing them. I know the seamless/raw edge is the trend with most bike shorts, but I am not fan. Combine that with the great gripper and it is harder to put the shorts on. I don't hate it, just not a fan. My wife does hate it because she has to pull her shorts down to use the restroom, making for more work to pull them up every time. I still call these shorts five star.

Stoked on the Pro Levitate chamois quality!
I’ve been holding back on the most expensive line due to my budget, but I finally went big with the Pro collection. Finally a chamois that seems to help more than hurt. I’d love to see cargo pocket options on shorts and bibs in the Pro collection.
