Small step up; huge improvement

This was my 1st quality pen purchase, and it has changed my perspective on what writing should be. I cannot accurately describe the writing experience, but the best word to describe it, however inadequate, is "Smooth". I ordered mine in a Medium nib. It is a wet writer, but it is a consistent and reliable wet that you can absolutely use! As such, I plan on making this a dedicated sheen or shading ink pen; it will absolutely do justice to a fancy ink! My writing style favors a fine nib, so I will be getting a second one that I can use more casually. This was like driving a BMW; you can't enjoy driving your Toyota any more, and you wonder what a Bently is like...

Surprising Quality

This is my first Visconti. I'm surprised by how great the steel nib writes. I have a couple of 14k Gold nibbed pens, but the way this Visconti writes is amazing.
