PD-301-X CD Player and FM Tuner - Separate Amplifier and Speakers Required

Simply an amazing cd player. This is the first cd player that I have bought in 38 years. Lately I’ve been using a Sony dvd player as a transport to my Topping Dx3 Pro DAC from circa 2002. I’ve connected the Teac PD-301 to the same Topping DAC via the optical port, and WOW, is all I can say. The clarity of sound between the Sony DVD player and the Teac PD-301 is literally night and day. The Sony sounds a bit distant where the Teac is full, present, clear, and most importantly: live sounding. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!! BTW, I’m a vinyl guy so for me to be surprised by the performance of this Teac player is, well, surprising to me.
