Mini backpack

Great pattern for the grandkids. Love it.

This is definitely a complicated pattern, but I did it as a beginner-intermediate seamstress. I’d suggest watching the YouTube video multiple times through before starting and making at least one backpack with fabric you don’t love, because it probably won’t turn out great. I’ve made four backpacks now and my last one turned out near perfect. The most difficult part is definitely the rounded corners. I’d highly recommend sewing the side edges first and then working around the corners once you have it attached from the sides/top/bottom. I’d highly recommend using canvas for a sturdy purse, as I made the flower one for myself.
