I figured these would be good based on the cookies and brownies I had tasted but, I set a high bar for pecan bars because my grandmother made the best that I have ever had and no one had ever come close....until now. The Cookie Maven is also the flaky, buttery, down home goodness Brown Butter Pecan Bar Maven. These bars were magnificent (chef's kiss) with the right balance if flavors, sweetness and texture. I can't wait to order a ton for my next gathering, since grandma passed her recipe, but not talented artistry of baking onto me.
