As my first order, I was hopeful that Maaike would live up to its on site appearance and reviews.....and I was very pleasantly surprised when it did! Beautiful fabrics and such a quick response has made me a very happy new customer. Apart from the Cupro I purchased a small amount of the tartan linen not with any specific plan but just as an inspirational piece...it’s such a beautiful colour and fabric that I think I may make a summer blouse to match my skirt...so Thankyou! I’m a happy sewer again after many years of my machine sitting waiting for me to be inspired once more.

So pretty

I love cupro but so slippery! This fabric however, with it's blend of tencel and linen, still has the beautiful sheen and drape of cupro but with a bit more structure. The colour is gorgeous and I will definitely purchase some more.

Beautiful fabric

The fabric has a lovely feel and drape to it I am going to pair this with some Navy, natural and Avocado Marimekko fabric I recently purchased and make a frock using this to form a yoke at back and front and edge the bottom edge of dress and sleeves as not enough Marimekko to make whole dress . Shiny on the right side and Matt on the reverse ( I am going to use Matt side as the right side Very pleased with my purchase. Great service. Always great fabrics . I am using a Pixie woven dress pattern from Style Arc.
