Old Town Protective Wrapping

Disappointing $150 “Protective” Wrapping I recently purchased a kayak online and was forced to purchase the $150 protective wrapping add-on during shipping, expecting it to provide solid protection for such an expensive and delicate item. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of money. When the kayak arrived, the wrapping was punctured in multiple places, leaving sections of the kayak’s plastic fully exposed. Worse still, the front of the kayak had several deep gouges scratched directly into the material itself – clearly from inadequate protection during transit. The “protective” wrapping looked and performed like nothing more than a cheap garbage bag thrown around the kayak. For $150, I expected heavy-duty padding, secure strapping, and real damage prevention – not this flimsy, ineffective cover.

Protective wrapping?

This has to be a joke? As I stated in my review of the kayak I purchased, you are forced to pay for protective wrapping. Evidently 1 layer of black shrink wrap is protective and worth $150. They should just be honest and say you are paying for shipping and cross your fingers. I will not purchase from eco fishing again.
