Sigvaris Sheer Women's Thigh High 20-30 mmHg, Open Toe

These sheer thigh high stockings are pretty and comfortable.

Love them but they don't last : (

The look, the feel, the ease of putting on -- all these are great. But, despite following all the rules about clean, dry skin and avoiding hair under the silicone band, the band does not last long and one or both stockings start slipping down my leg. It's annoying at home, but very embarrassing when walking, at the gym, or in a grocery store. I have to be sure to wear knee-hi socks when I go out to stop the Sigvaris EverSheer from dropping below my knee, because it reaches my knee, it's all the way down to my ankle in seconds. I know my size is right, I launder them very carefully, but still I can't trust them after only 4-5 wearings/washings. And I can't afford to replace a pair so frequently, so I make do with the knee high socks and the annoyance of the compression hose hanging loosely around my knees. :(
