Uni-Valve, Convenience Without Sacrificing Flow

I've been using a Univalve for quite a while. I really like the convenience of being able to control the water directly at the pole, so I just purchased a second for another wfp. While testing the flow of my new Xero High Flow hose, I decided to measure how much, if any, flow I was losing through the Uni-valve. At approximately 110 PSI, I performed a timed one-gallon flow test. Without the Univalve: 53.42 seconds per gallon — 1.12 GPM With the Univalve: 54.72 seconds per gallon — 1.10 GPM On my setup, the Univalve only reduced flow by only about 2.3%, or roughly 0.03 GPM. For me, the convenience is easily worth such a small reduction in flow.

Love this addition to my water fed set up, keeps the job site neat when going window to window so I am only applying pure water where I need it.
