Extra Mini Crib Mattress Cover

FALSE ADVERTISING Extremely Disappointed & Awful Customer Service

I’m extremely disappointed with Newton Baby. I spent $300 on their play yard specifically because the Amazon listing, sold by Newton Baby, showed a bassinet insert in the product photos. The bassinet feature was the entire reason I chose this play yard over other options. After receiving it and realizing there was no bassinet insert, I contacted Newton multiple times through both email and DM. I even submitted multiple screenshots/photos of their own Amazon listing clearly showing the bassinet insert. Their response? I was simply told they “no longer offer it,” and then they closed my ticket. That is completely unacceptable. If an accessory is discontinued and no longer included or available, it should not be prominently shown in the photos being used to sell a $300 product—especially when those photos can directly influence a customer’s purchasing decision. What made the situation even worse was the customer service. They were incredibly dismissive and made zero effort to make the situation right, despite being shown evidence of the listing I relied on when making my purchase. No meaningful solution, no attempt to resolve the issue—just “we don’t offer it anymore” and a closed ticket. For a company selling premium-priced baby products, I expected far better transparency and customer service. I would not have purchased this play yard had the listing accurately represented what I was actually getting. Buyers should be very careful and not assume the product photos accurately reflect what is included.
