CINNAMON ROLL | DIEGO BERMUDEZ M-03 CASTILLO - GREEN BEANS

One of my wife and I’s favorite coffees in a while. The cinnamon, honey, raisin, baked qualities are just on a different level. Local roaster here also roasts and sells it and it’s just incredibly memorable. Bought this as green to roast myself when roaster runs out.

About half way through the roast the air in the kitchen starts to smell fresh baked cinnamon rolls. This coffee is so much fun to drink. It is a perfect pairing with pumpkin bread. It’s important to know though it smells and tastes like, well cinnamon rolls! But not necessarily sweet. You can add for that in your cup. As a standalone you will have a cinnamon roll with effectively a baker’s chocolate secondary flavor. Yes the per pound cost is high, but a great treat for special occasions. This will be served after dinner on thanksgiving. Happy holidays y’all!!

Tried this coffee at a local coffee shop in Atlanta. Knew I had to hunt it down to roast myself and it’s really a special coffee. Perfect for the cooler weather. Will likely buy it again just to stockpile a little more.
