I recently invested in the Brioti FOCOS Eyewear System with the Matte Onyx frame. This is definitely a premium product specifically engineered for the unique demands of pickleball. Uncompromising Safety: The Z87+ impact rating was the primary selling point for me. Having previously suffered a direct impact to my left eye from a smashed tennis ball—an injury that required seeing an eye specialist and left me with permanent floaters—I do not take eye safety lightly. After seeing slow-motion footage of other "safety" glasses collapsing under the force of a pickleball speed-up, switching to Brioti FOCOS has given me true peace of mind. I now step onto the court knowing my vision is backed by genuine high-velocity protection. Lens Performance & Versatility: Outdoor: The OGMENT™ 4D Shade is exceptional, providing great contrast and clarity in natural light. Indoor: While I initially found the OGMENT™ 4D Boost a bit dark for my indoor facility, I switched to the Dinkum+ lens which helps cut the harsh glare from bright overhead lights without sacrificing visibility. Anti-Fog: As advertised, these lenses simply do not fog. I particularly appreciate the XPAND venting system, which allows me to "crack" the frame slightly for extra airflow when it is hot. Final Verdict: While the Brioti FOCOS system is a significant investment, the quality and specialized technology justify the price. For anyone who plays pickleball regularly, I definitely recommend these highly—don't wait for an accident to happen before you prioritize your eyes (from a retired M.D.).

Excellent for indoor play!

The DINKUM+ lenses are crystal clear and the blue light blocking feature is very beneficial for indoor play. They also seem to eliminate perceived glare caused by many harsh fluorescent indoor lights. Lastly, during serious play I haven't experienced any fogging issues and the overall fit is exceptional! I highly recommend these!!!
