John Prine's Songwriters Notebook

Not what I was expecting. I thought it was a larger book of copies of John’s handwritten songs, pictures, songwriting advice perhaps, etc. It basically is a notebook with two songs written by John inside the book, and the cover is printed with small copies of excerpts in his handwriting. I paid full price for it, the next week it was selling for half. I wouldn’t have paid full price for this book had I picked it up in a bookstore and thumbed through. Now I’m stuck with part of a Christmas present I’m almost embarrassed to give.

Cool little notebook. Bought as a gift for friend who is a songwriter.
